Thank you. Will definitely check out cheese making. I’ve just made a batch of lemon curd using some in season Amalfi lemons . Tomorrow will make some blood orange curd
Thanks re the hand crank grain mill (link), I use my Psalter grinder to grind my barley and wheat for small beers, and it grinds a bit too fine. (the way its mounted on wall I cant adjust it much). So I think I need something else. best from ORegon for now...
Thank you! I was thininkg about trying to make cheese at home for some time and this looks like a great starting point!
What's your favorite and/or easiest cheese to make Ashley?
I'm going to start making raw goat cheese.

Another truly wonderful posting!
Your farm must indeed be nothing less than spectacular, and where/how you dind the time to do all that you do is beyond my imagination.
When you wake each morning it must be with a "can do" and attitude and thankful attitude to God foe giving you another day to share your talents.
another great article Ashley !

Hi Ashley
I looked at your Paneer recipe and sounds great, very easy to do
Just wondering about the whey, what uses can you make from it?
Also just drinking sounds great, I suppose it depends on how much lemon juice you use would make it palatable or not?
Fantastic Ashley, wish I had the time to do half of them, but will start with some simple cheeses.
