My sour cherry tree was loaded this year but the crows got most of them. There is no one to pick them. I used to can them.
I live about 50 miles east of Seattle,Wa.
Do you have to deal with brown tail moths? They devastate the apple and wild cherry trees here in coastal Maine.
I have small Nanking cherries. Is there an easy way to pit them? I have been simmering and straining them but its extra work.

Cherries are my favorite. I had a cherry tree but the fruit was always full of worms. How do you keep yours from the infestation?
