I loved your article. It took me right into the festival. I’m a cheese, animal, ice cream, country, and people lover too. I was fascinated by the name Von Trapp, as I was reminded of The Sound of Music. Lord willing, maybe I can go one of these years.
I also enjoyed hearing about your daughter’s dream of having her own goats. How wonderful.
You are such a wonderful writer. I relish reading all of your posts. You're no slouch when it comes to taking amazing photos either. I wanted to reach through the screen and give that adorable sleeping calf a smooch. Thank you for another reliably vivid and entertaining piece about our "Brave Little State".
There is something special about Vermont cheeses and cheese makers. The last time I was in Vermont I attended an apple festival, and sampled cheese from so many vendors. This was like a walk down memory lane, thank you.

Thank you for my arm chair trip 😁
That is exactly what Life is all about!
Fantastic! You took me back to a few years I lived in VT growing up. My heart felt the air and yearned to be back.
Makes me want to visit Vermont for sure! Been looking for a good sourse of Herkimercheese for years.
Now that sounds wonderful. I love cheese. All kinds of cheese. I would have loved that place.
I need to mark my calendar for next year's.

I agree! You are an EXCELLENT writer! You are so clear and easy to understand and also very fun to read!
Probably the world capital of homemade cheeses... Sorry Wisconsin, Swiss land, duchtland, etc, etc, etc.
I love your posts and am so impressed by your young daughter! Being your children must be incredible! You are dream parents!
Thank you for sharing! It sounds as though you both had a wonderful day!
Wonderful article, beautifully written. Thank you!

So wish I could have gone to this event! Thank you for a wonderful run down on it!
ps I miss Vermont!
What a wonderful celebration of locally produced food! We all need more of these in our regions.
