Oh boy, I gave up hotdogs a long time ago, BUT, the photos (and relish!) look amazing. I just might have to reconsider :)

Thank you for all the effort you put into your amazing posts! I really do find them helpful, informative, fun and a source of joy.

As an aside, would you ever consider posting on Bluesky? I would love to follow you on that platform! I do occasionally see re-posts, which I appreciate.

The timing on the picture of your relish hotdogs is so perfect with the dog licking its lips and I doubt I’ll see anything more precious today than your daughter swimming with her babies! Thanks for all the fabulous recipes and the pickmeup pictures too!

I can’t get enough of the baby geese. Sometimes I stare at your pictures of the fuzzy wuzzies when I’m stressed out at work.

Something I’d really like to see is, how to get started with a more self reliant lifestyle if you live in an apartment and have no outdoor space (and not much space in general). All the homesteading content for apartment dwellers boils down to “grow herbs in pots” but whenever I try to do even that, one hot humid day and they magically become dead.

thank you for the relish recipes! The July 4th weekend is my annual hot dog eating weekend. I love a good hot dog topped with lots of relish and onions!

I left social media in March of 2025 and don't miss it all. My screen social time is on Substack, reading essays and Notes.

Thanks for all you do.

Hi, Ashley. For what it’s worth, this is the relish recipe my farmers market customers flip over and ask for: https://oldworldgardenfarms.com/2024/06/11/grandmas-zucchini-relish-recipe/. Those goslings with your daughter are all adorable!

I use apples and peaches (50/50) in place of cukes in sweet relish. It is now my go-to relish

LOVE the baby snuggling baby pic and the story on your daughter mothering the goslings.

Do you know what the original pink lemonade was? (I do.)

I am about to make zucchini relish, so the timing on your recipe is perfect. But I have a question. I need a good, not to abrasive to the gut microbiomes, mouthwash. What do you use?
